A pillar activity of the Amu Darya Basin Network is to work with experts, practitioners and researchers from the Amu Darya Basin to produce quality research that will serve as policy and knowledge tools. In the aim of contributing to the enhancement of water governance in the Amu Darya Basin, the network invites you to send your proposal to adbn@ewi.info
Produced papers will be published on www.amudaryabasin.net and will be widely distributed by the network members in their respective societies and organizations.
The following requirements need to be met:
- The research is a result of collaboration between two or more experts, researchers or practitioners from at least two of the Amu Darya Basin countries, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, or between an expert from one of the Basin countries with an international counterpart.
- The research contributes to the enhancement of water governance in the Amu Darya Basin
- The research addresses at least one of the four thematic area of the Amu Darya Basin Network
- Authors collaborate with existing water related institutions in the Basin during the research
- The paper can be used as knowledge and/or policy tool by organizations, policy makers, and by other experts.
