Communique: Kabul international conference on Afghanistan

The Kabul Conference, held in 20 July 2010, was the first international conference to be held in Afghanistan itself. The Conference was attended by 76 delegations (including 13 from international organizations) and over 40 foreign ministers. The Communiqué [a renewed commitment by the Afghan government to the Afghan people, a renewed commitment by the international community to Afghanistan] outlines how the partnership between Afghanistan and the international community will evolve in future as well as the Afghan Government’s own detailed programmes for developing and stabilizing the country.
