Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan on water resources management

The video by UNECE shows the cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan on the management of shared Chu and Talas rivers. The work of Chu Talas Commission, established in 2006 with the support of the UNECE, is remarkable in that that they created a mutually beneficial way for the countries sharing the rivers to share responsibility for water infrastructure used by both countries. Lessons certainly need to be learned to other countries in the region.
